ABOUT US

OUR GOAL

Agriculture and ranching are extremely important to our family, and our number one goal is to continue to build an operation that will grow for generations to come and to grow the Borderview Belle Ranch and Belle’s Beef and Lamb. We feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to share our beef and lamb products with you.

OUR HISTORY

Billy’s family homestead in the outskirts of Big Timber, Montana, and have been there for 101 years. Their focus was sheep, but they also ran cattle. Billy’s dad was among the last to have a grazing permit in the national forest. Their summers were spent trailing sheep to their mountain pasture.

Britt grew up on a feedlot and cash crop farm in Wisconsin, which instilled her passion for agriculture at a very young age. Her dad was heavily involved in the beef council and other agricultural organizations, and she hopes to instill the same passion in their kids and continue representing agriculture. We are so thankful we get to carry on the ranching legacy within our family and hope there are many more generations to come.

OUR CONSERVATION EFFORTS

Borderview Bell Ranch is committed to caring for the land that allows us to support our way of life. We are honored to have been previously nominated for the Leopold Conservation Award and in 2020, we received a USDA grant to replace 70% of our energy with solar power.

OUR RANCH HORSES

We raise horses that we use on the ranch daily, but we also have an “A-team” that we take to reined cow horse shows. Using artificial insemination, we utilize the industry’s latest cow horse genetics.

Our kids all have their own horses that they train and show. We love watching them progress with their horses and confidence grow as horsemen. We spent many hours as a family working our horses and traveling to shows.
