The Belle’s Beef and Lamb is our direct-to-consumer branch of Borderview Bell Ranch. Through the Belle’s Beef and Lamb we offer ranch raised and locally processed meat across the country.

We offer individual cuts, combination packages, and bulk beef and lamb for local pick up and shipping.

We understand the importance of knowing exactly where your food comes from and what inputs are present. Our cattle are certified All Natural or NHTC. They are grass-finished, and we monitor their health and wellness daily, along with animal welfare check-ins conducted Global Animal Partnership and IMI.

OUR CATTLE

We run a moderate framed easy fleshing maternal Angus mother cow herd and as of 2010, we added a terminal cross with Limousin bulls for  added muscling, feed efficiency and frame. We use artificial insemination to form the ideal female for our operation and incorporate strong genetics. High in the foothills of Montana, we believe this combination forms the ideal animal to grow pounds on grass and thrive in our environment.

TENLEY’S SHEEP

What started out as a tool to train our dogs has grown into quite the business for our daughter Tenley, and we are beyond proud of her. With her hard work and dedication, the herd has grown from 5 to 50-plus ewes and over 100 lambs annually.

She feeds them twice a day, before and after school, takes excellent care of them, and does it all independently. She is incredibly excited to offer several cuts of lamb for sale, which can be purchased through our online store.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Absolutely! We offer nationwide shipping, and we ship out every Tuesday. Orders must be placed by the Saturday prior.

  • Yes, we do offer local pickup! If you're in Bozeman, Montana, you can conveniently pick up your order there. Additionally, if you prefer to pick up in Opheim, please contact us at borderviewbellranch@gmail.com to arrange the details.

  • For quarter beef, you'll receive approximately 115-140 lbs of Montana-raised beef. A half beef order provides around 200-250 lbs, while a whole beef order offers 400-500 lbs of premium beef.

  • A half lamb order comes with 15-20- lbs of delicious lamb, and if you opt for a whole lamb, you'll receive approximately 30-40 lbs.

  • Yes! We are proud to provide all-natural beef and lamb to our consumers. Our cattle are certified All Natural or NHTC (Non-Hormone-Treated Cattle) and are GAP (Global Animal Partnership) approved. They enjoy their days grazing on the lush grass of Montana's foothills, and we prioritize their health and well-being through daily monitoring and regular animal welfare check-ins conducted by Global Animal Partnership and IMI.

  • Yes, our beef and lamb sampler box is the perfect way to get the best of both worlds. It’s packed with 2 pounds of ground beef, 2 pounds of ground lamb, 1 pound of lamb chop, 2 pounds of beef steak, and a 3-4 pound roast!

  • Conservation is a cornerstone of our ranch's values. We're committed to preserving the land that sustains our way of life. Our dedication has been recognized with a nomination for the Leopold Conservation Award, and in 2020, we took a big step toward sustainability by receiving a USDA grant to replace 70% of our energy consumption with solar power.
